CCRC Load state: Update Cancelled mode

This technote identifies a defect using the IBM® Rational® ClearCase® remote Client (CCRC) version 6.14.7 on Windows® XP where editing the config spec causes the view to be unusable.

Cause

Upon editing the config spec in CCRC and updating the view the view properties show the view in the following state: Load state: Update cancelled As a result, subsequent commands on this view cannot be run. This problem has been identified as defect RATLC01104132.

Solution

This defect has been resolved indirectly as of the changes made for update 6.14.8. Review technote 1215611 for more details on Installing or updating CCRC for Eclipse 3.0 and later.
