Unable to fetch delivery target stream

This technote identifies a defect where the IBM® Rational® ClearCase® Remote Client can not create views based on a read-only stream.

Cause

The following error occurs while attempting to create a CCRC UCM view to any read-only stream or while attempting to create an integration view on a multi-stream project: Unable to fetch delivery target stream Note: A read-only stream does not have a deliver target stream; however, CCRC should allow the creation of a view based on a read-only stream. This issue has been logged as defect APAR PK11770.

Solution

This issue has been resolved in ClearCase 7.0. This functionality will not be patched in prior versions and there are no known workarounds.
