Cause

This message appears when a previous CCRC installation has not been completely uninstalled.

Resolving the problem

Remove the previous versions of CCRC, delete the installation directory and reinstall. Check if CCRC is present in the Add or Remove Programs and uninstall CCRC from there.  Version 7 Version 6 Search for a CCRC directory on the host and remove it. CCRC is installed by default to C:\Program Files\IBM\Rational\ClearCase\CCRC. Note: The directory C:\Program Files\IBM needs to be cleared from any remnants of a previous CCRC install as well. In your home directory, ensure that the %WINDIR%\IBM\CCRC70 (C:\WINDOWS\IBM\CCRC70 for example) is clear of any remnants of a previous install.  Note: It is safe to delete the entire CCRC directory if required.
