Clicking the OK button may result in the following messages:

MESSAGE 2

Deliver from Stream Operation Warning

Some files could not be checked out in the target view.
Unable to perform merge.
Unable to do integration.

MESSAGE 3

Deliver from Stream

An error occurred during the Deliver operation.
Some files could not be checked out in the target view.

Note: Similar errors can appear for rebase operations as well; the cause of which is the same.

In this scenario it was determined that there was a View-Private file or directory in the Integration View with the same name as an element in the change set that you are delivering.

Resolving the problem

Set to your integration view (in the scenario of a deliver failure) or your development view (in the scenario of a rebase failure) and see if you have any View-Private files or directories with the same name as a file or directory you just added to source control.

If you locate the view-private file or directory with the same name, either delete or rename the file it in the view and resume the UCM deliver or rebase operation.

Solution 2:

If no view privates are found in the target stream's view:

  1. Back out of the deliver
  2. Create a new view on that target stream
  3. Deliver using the new view as the target
